TRANSLATION CO-ORDINATOR

We have a new translation co-ordinator position available, we are seeking a linguist with strong German and English verbal and written skills (ideally bilingual) to co-ordinate translation projects as part of our current team. This challenging role involves good people skills as much as a sound knowledge of languages. 

Responsibilities include liaison with clients and translators, taking client requirements and converting them into project specifications, liaising with different teams and individuals to deliver projects on time, proof checking work that comes back, updating translation memories, etc.

Deadlines can be demanding but quality is always paramount. Applicants need to be well organised, thorough and have an eye for detail. They should be able to think on their feet in unexpected situations and to make judgement calls along the way.

A good working knowledge of most MS Office applications is essential. Some experience of Trados is a definite plus, however training is offered where required.
